The ZEVRO CNC Vortex Motor Cover was created to bring the mechanical presence of a transparent dry clutch to the SurRon Ultra Bee.

As the original designer of this concept, I wanted to create more than a protective cover. By using the mounting pattern of the primary belt pulley, the design adds a visible rotary structure beneath a transparent outer window. When the bike is in motion, the inner plate rotates with the drivetrain, creating a stronger sense of depth, movement, and mechanical identity.

This product went through multiple revisions, including hole positioning, rotary plate pattern, outer proportions, and internal clearance. After weeks of adjustment, the final version was refined for fitment, visual motion, and structural reliability.

Machined from 6061 aluminum alloy with high-precision 5-axis CNC manufacturing, the cover is finished with anodizing for a clean, durable, and premium appearance.

This is not just a cover.
It is a visible mechanical signature for the Ultra Bee.
